"Seven Jeans, True Religion, I say no but they keep givin'"

So today was definitely a good hair day and a good outfit day. Yet it was a stressful one nonetheless. Tests tests test. That's all I have to say about that. Any who, I'm so excited about the new Jason Wu collection for target. It basically sold out by Sunday afternoon in my school. I got the cutest blouse that seems so fresh, vintage and all in a springy sort of way. Oh and I got some car eye sunglasses there too! I was debating getting some from either Kate spade or Tory Burch but this offered for a more affordable version that is just as cute! And this weekend I picked up some seven jeans that are perfect in every way. They fit like a glove.

Sixties Sunday

So last night I picked up this awesome pinkish coral lipstick at target. I've been really into a bold lip lately and it's definitely been the hot winter/spring look this year. This lipstick is cover girl in fairytale. Definitely a good buy. I also have been loving thick winged out eyeliner which has the perfect 60s feel that I love.

Le vingt-deux Janvier

Well it's definitely January. The sky is bleak and the weather matches perfectly. That's why I decided to wear something that's completely opposite. Why not have fun with clothes today? I sure do need it.

Thursday: Kourtney K.dash and français!

So today has been so busy and it's only 1:25 here in the east coast. To start with I had classes! Yuck. French 3 and Chem 2. They were okay but I was exhausted from that stupid full moon last night. And then lunch with the girls and shopping were I was literally losing after this fossil wallet and Michael Kors satchel. Ahh being on a budget. Sucks to suck I guess. Anyway here is look p the day which I actually am really into.

Sunday in the South

Happy Sunday everyone! Sorry about my long long absence from the world of blogging. But now I hope to update this as much as possible. I will be documenting my everyday looks along with other interesting topics.

My outfit today for church consisted of my leggings target, a button down blue Oxford shirt from lands end(thrifted from my grandfather), mothers leather braided belt, target circle earrings, and leather boots from rackroom.

A Knight In Paris...

So prom is tomorrow... "A Knight in Paris" catchy phrase. Everything is practically perfect. Number one it is friday!(gotta get down on friday, we we we soo excited!) Number two: I have an amazing dress! Number three: a great group to go with. Number four: makeup and hair-wonderful, Kim Kardashian style! I could go through and list out all the wonderful things about prom and its great except supposively my date broke his ankle... football quarterback...that would happen. Why? I don't know, I don't know the plan but somewhere there has to be a reason. When I got the call I really couldn't believe that it actually happend. Its April Fools day and I really don't know who to believe, especially from the 30 second conversation. Ugggghhh, why? Maybe it will turn out all for the best.. hopefully. This is all the venting I'm going to do until its all over and I know the reason and result. I'm just going to try not to think. But thinking in perspective or in relatively its really not that big of a deal. I just hope he doesn't feel to bad physically and emotionally. God has a plan and reason for everything and although I don't know it I still have to remain faithfull and trust that He knows best. This week is faithfullness. And I want to remain so, I don't even know what this is about but so far my plan is to stay calm and have a peacefull night, tomorrow morning get up get ready go see Josh and then get ready for prom... I just have to do it and not think too much. But maybe I shouldn't plan and just let the day unfold. Maybe this is why... I plan too much. I don't know but anyway this is the dress, and I guess tomorrow I'm going solo.

Spring Fever!

So recently I have been longing for spring and summer and their sunny days that come with everthing warm related weather. January is so over-rated, I can't stand the cold rain, snow, and gloomy skies. I'm ready for some warmth to warm me inside and out. This year I am really excited about a few pieces at the beloved J.Crew. So these are a few of my favorites that will hopfully be joining  me to Spring Break '11 (:

Here's the breakdown:

Martime Dress: when I saw this dress I instantely thought how cute and springish this dress was. It is vintage but yet new, colorful yet simple, and unstructured yet flattering. It is the perfect combination that I hope to eventually own. I also love the belt paired with it. It adds the perfect touch without being over the top. I can definitely see myself pairing it with some cute suade sandals or leather ones.
3'" Chino Short: These are just the classic Chino Short which I own several pairs of, but this color in modern red reinvents the classic short. I absolutely love the red orange color. It can add the right amount of spice to any outfit.. especially with white, navy, blue, and champagne, or ivory colors. I hope that I can also add this to my spring break wardrobe.

Timex Traveler Watch: I absolutely love the simplicity of this Timex watch. I love the more feminine design then the men's watches. I would ultimely chose a red watch strap but the silver design is so clean and sophistocated that it offers the classic men's watch on a woman look without being too bulky. That is why this is the perfect choice for someone who wants a more feminine watch although still keeping the masculine look.
